It began with a feeling.

As Nancy walked the property she purchased on Great East Lake in 2000, she was embraced by the towering pines, serenaded by the wildlife, and renewed by the essence of the forest. Even the stillness was magical. It felt like an oasis for the soul, and it needed to be shared with others.

By 2011, Camp Bella Soul was created and ready to welcome non-profit organizations. A variety of organizations, primarily working with teenagers, enjoyed the camp.

In 2015,with the acquisition of the adjacent 5 acre property, a 1200 sq ft Workshop was designed and built to create an opportunity for learning and creative expression.

In 2020, when Covid struck, the camp was winterized and offered (on Airbnb) to those looking for a safe retreat from their routines.

As the camp evolves, it will always be committed to offering a safe, welcoming, space for others to relax, reflect, and renew.
